Coaching by mental health experts supports lasting change
Psychological and psychotherapeutic methods improve the sustainability of lifestyle changes. Traditional coaching often focuses on just one aspect, like nutrition or exercise, but we take a holistic approach. We understand that stress, emotions, and thought patterns affect everything – and that meaningful change has to start deeper than just behaviour.
In our coaching, we focus on three key areas:
- Recognizing and regulating emotions
- Managing motivation
- Developing flexible thinking
When you understand how your emotions influence your behaviour, you can better recognize obstacles and make more lasting changes. At the same time, we strengthen your motivation so that change becomes a natural part of your life – not just a short-term effort.
Why choose us?
We have over 60 years of experience in mental health. We’re also seasoned athletes and coaches. One of us is a psychologist, and two are psychotherapists. This means we understand the mind-body connection – and we know what it really takes to create lasting change.
Why do lifestyle changes fail?
Lifestyle change isn’t just about willpower – it requires understanding what’s really getting in the way of long-term change. Often, burnout and chronic overload drain your energy, leaving no capacity for change. Sometimes motivation is high at first, but if the change is driven only by external goals and doesn’t support your inner well-being, it won’t last.
Stress and hyperarousal can also hinder recovery, preventing your body and mind from truly relaxing. This can create a cycle where sleep quality deteriorates and fatigue increases. Others may try to compensate through exercise, but without proper recovery, overtraining can throw the body out of balance. When these underlying issues go unrecognized, change tends to be short-lived and old habits quickly return.
Managing burnout and overload
If you’ve tried to make lifestyle changes but life’s busyness always gets in the way, you’re not alone. Research shows that most lifestyle changes fail because they overlook the mind-body connection. Traditional coaching often focuses only on exercise or nutrition – but without psychological support, results rarely last.
