Harri Henriksson – psykoterapeutti, sairaanhoitaja ja valmentaja

I bring lived experience—especially when it comes to overtraining and burnout. I know exactly what not to do. I’ve made nearly every possible mistake in sports and learned the hard way what happens when you underestimate the demands of work and life. Thankfully, I’ve grown wiser and more compassionate toward both myself and those I coach. These days, moderation is a word I truly value.

Thanks to my background in nursing, I see people as whole beings—where the different areas of life are interconnected. Life is rarely perfectly balanced, but understanding and observing the causes of imbalance is the first step toward change.

My approach to coaching is highly practical. But behind every concrete goal lie the mind, emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations. Developing awareness and insight into these elements is, in my view, essential for lasting change. In coaching, we aim for a deeper understanding of the self.

As a person, I’m approachable, social, straightforward, and flexible. The days of unnecessary pressure and perfectionism are behind me.

My personal motto quotes Second Lieutenant Koskela: “We take care of the essentials. The rest—we’re like free-range chickens.” (A classic Finnish quote.)
